Unregulated asynchronous motors are still frequently used to drive fans in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and building technology. However, they have a serious disadvantage: comparatively low efficiency. This has an impact on energy consumption in practically all applications.
This can also be done in a more energy-efficient way: ebm-papst is able to replace the usually inefficient fans with AC motors with highly efficient EC technology with the same mechanics. Switching from AC to EC fans not only pays off for the environment and the user’s wallet, but also increases comfort at the same time.
System solutions
System solutions is a specialized area and part of our success. With system solutions, we create special solutions for our customers that deviate from the so-called standard.
