Fan failure detection for monitoring and ensuring fan operation in critical applications

The fan failure detection LFT reliably detects when the speed of connected
AC and/or DC fans is below a preset speed threshold.
The HALL signal of the monitored fan is evaluated by an electronic system for this purpose.
A potential-free contact is then switched via a relay (NO NO contact, NC NC NC contact,
CO changeover contact).
– Speed evaluation of AC and DC fans by means of Hall signal.
– Relay switching functions depending on preset speed thresholds.
– Protection against mechanical and moisture stress thanks to complete encapsulation in the housing.
– The monitoring functions can be selected for specific devices.
